Best lash curler I have tried, but does break
Stephanie✓ Verified Purchase•February 8, 2018
I have bought this 3 times, about to buy my 4th. Love the way this curls lashes. Gives more curl with less "squeezes." Doesn't pinch my eyes as bad or as often as traditional eyelash curlers. Also does not rub my eyeliner off as bad as other lash curlers. But they do break fairly easily. I've had one black one, 2 pink ones. The pink one is easier to see your lashes when you use it, but my pink ones have broken much quicker than my only black one did. Maybe coincidence, but I'm gonna try a black one again to see if it lasts longer. My black one lasted me several months, my pink ones have seemed to last like a month each. Worth the price though for how great they work until they break. Wish there was a way to make this same product more durable.
Fantastic!

I loved this product! It fits my eyes better...it's easier to adjust the placement, so it gets closer to the actual lid. AND the insert doesn't keep falling out, which seems to happen with the traditional curlers. [I'm caucasian with probably the most common size and shape of eyes!)
Second one broke within the first 3 months.

This is the second one of these I've purchased. The first one lasted almost a year. Then the plastic hinge broke. This one is less than 3 months old, and already there are cracks along the eyelash edge. I'm afraid if I keep using it that it will splinter and hit me in the eye or yank out my eyelashes in the little cracks. Although this design seems to work better than the huge ones that you can't get close enough to your lash line, they just don't last. I guess that's why they can advertise that they will replace the pads for the life of the curler. With the short life of the curler, no one must ever need the replacement pads. I guess I'll see if I can find one in a sturdier material.
Works well but breaks too often!

I have bought this eyelash curler 4 times already. I love the design of the curler; pink, small, and compact to fit in any makeup bag. It comes with a free refill of at the bottom and a guarantee of free refills once that runs out. The shape of the curler is not too curved as fits the shape of my Asian eyes very well. At first but I was super happy with it!
I bought my first one 3 years ago and after a few months the left hinge broke. I tried fixing it with super glue, but this plastic doesn't adhere very well. So I bought another one, deciding that it was with the money since it worked very well. However, I found myself breaking all of them after 6 months tops of daily use. After the 4th one broke, I decided to try another curler since this one ends up costing way more money than a shu uemura which has lasted my sister for years already.
Though this is a really nice curler, it breaks quite easily. In the end it is more expensive to keep re buying this curler than buying a more expensive one and occasionally buying refills.

Not worth the price

The plastic broke about a year after I started using it, so I just have to throw it away. I disn't even get to the point to replace the pad. This was my biggest concern when I bought it, but I should've looked at the thin plastic closer. It was working fine while I was able to use it.
