This product is fantastic and does a good job. But I didn't wear gloves and my fingers turned a greenish tinge that would not wash off. It took almost a week of hand washing and lotion over and over to get the normal color back onto my fingers.
That being said I used it to clean up an old copper tea kettle that had been in the garden for awhile. Took a few applications and a lot of scrubbing but it looks very cool shining between my plants. It also did a good job on the brass pitcher but I broke off the handle during my scrubbing so I'm not as much in love with it. The product is good.

Works as advertised, but product must be washed off completely or will leave spots that will need to be polished out. Also any overspray that gets on any surrounding metal will leave bad stains.

This tarnish remover works like magic...just spray it on and the tarnish disappears. Can't believe I struggled with Brasso for so many years. To be fair, Brasso does not promote itself as a tarnish remover, Flitz does. But follow directions to the letter. Do not let the tarnish remover dry on your brass and WASH it off, don't just wipe it off then dry it carefully. Finally, and perhaps most important, you must polish your brass with Flitz metal polish. The manufacturer doesn't emphasize this, but doing so will result in a gleamingly brilliant sheen...perhaps 50% brighter than if you if you just stop after the tarnish remove step. I was astonished at the difference the polish makes. Highly recommended.
