I bought this *and* a Rubbermaid w/ Cedar inserts. I thought this would be too long, but it only has 4" below my suit coat. This one is long enough that it won't wrinkle the suit where the the r-maid one does. This has a very large window in it so you can see which clothes are in it if you have several in the closet. The rubbermaid one was 50% more expensive, too short, and the selling point (cedar wood strips) left me feeling duped!

btw, the cedar in the other was 1-1/8" x 4-1/4" piece of (presumably cedar) about as thick as an envelope w/ a short credit card bill inside.

My Mother-in-law travels doing talks to different quilt guilds & organizations about the things she's made. Many of the things she's made is quilts, jackets, dresses, costumes for my children, & flower girl dresses for my daughter (and there are a lot of those). She had a couple of plastic garment bags that we had all of the dresses, costumes, and wedding outfits in but they couldn't handle the shuffle that went on between talks. I came across this bag & thought I would try it out. They have worked great. You can see what is hanging in them at the top which is what I like, everything breathes because it's not all plastic & there is a loop at the bottom that you can use to flip back up on top of the hangers to help with the carrying process. So far these have held up great. I'm thinking of getting a couple of more.

I bought this one because of the price. But I was surprised at the fine quality when it arrived. I only needed it for a formal dress. It housed not only the dress but there was room in the bottom for shoes and accessories also. I am happy with this product.

This is a well constructed garment bag that is the perfect fit for my formal wear. I'm 5'7" and own gowns that, even with 4" heels on, almost touch the ground. My gowns fit perfectly in the garment bag and do not fold at the bottom. My first use of this garment bag involved travelling and I found it easy to pack and go. There is a small loop at the bottom of the bag that hooks over the hangers to fold it in half that allowed a great fit into my suitcase. As mentioned in other reviews, the bag is not completely see-through. There is a plastic window (measuring about 12"-12.5") at the top of the bag that allows me to see what I have stored. Presently, I have 3 gowns in it and will be able to fit 2 or 3 more because of the gusseted style. (My gowns are constructed of lighter materials like chiffon & jersey knits.) Great buy!

I ordered 5 garment bags. I am very pleased with them. I have used all of them for wedding dresses. The plastic on the top is clear. The zippers work great, not heavy duty. The hanger opening is reinforced. They have a nice amount of room inside. The length is a good size. I would definitely buy more of these if I needed them.
