Almost perfect!
RomanStJames•November 20, 2017
This lap board could have been perfect except for one thing - the mouse pad doesn't slide in and out of the case! There is a place inside of the case to store the pad, but whenever you want to use it, you have to take it out and attach it to the side of the case. Then, either leave it hanging there (and vulnerable to being broken) or detach it and store it back inside the case. Other than that, it's great. (Oh, and it would also be nice if there was a place inside the case to store a mouse).
A decent product for improved productivity.

I bought this so that I wasn't cooped up in my office, chained to my desk and away from my wife and daughter. For that purpose, it's done it's job well. It's light enough to carry easily and the pad is very comfortable. The mouse extension is sturdy and helps tremendously with productivity and the fan is a must if you are working for long periods of time. The design could use some work, though.
I must have missed it in the description, but I assumed the mouse extension was a pull-out. That would've made sense. Instead, you have to remove from inside and it clicks into place. The panel used for elevation is a little clunky to use because the clearance of the locking tabs is so small, it tends to hang up when you move it back and forth. The wire for the fan is too long, so it tends to get pinched when you close it all up.
All-in-all, a good product that assists in your mobility.

it's not the best. cheap plastic
Owen•June 13, 2016
Been using this for about a month now.... it's not the best. cheap plastic, most of its value is in the fan which does work remarkably well. Its clumsy in my lap, probably my fault, lol. My laptops rounded under casing makes it fall off the simple "lip" holding area. The rubber used in that area is very dense so it doesn't hold my laptop very well either. The mouse attachment cannot be made any cheaper for its price, meaning it's just another piece of plastic that is supposed to fit and "hold" there, but doesn't. The only things that keeps this products 3 stars is the nice lap-pillow and really nice fan, that is pretty quiet. And i can tell you the fan works really nicely because my laptop is not made is not made for streaming or games but it keeps me cool anyway
Computer slides off & Fan stopped working on third use
Cy•February 17, 2016
The second time I used it one of the ten (or so) blades broke off of the fan. I figured it wasn't a big deal as the fan still worked. But the next time I went to use it the fan stopped working too.
The picture shows the laptop at 30 degrees (the highest of the four setting 15, 20, 25 and 30 degrees). My computer slid right off even when I lowered setting. You cannot use the fan when the stand is flat (0 degrees) so you have to have it at an angle. It's a catch 22. But now it is a moot point since my fan isn't working anyways.

I love this lap desk
Karen A. Oakes•February 13, 2016
I love this lap desk! I moved to a small house that has no room for a desk, so I must use my laptop on my lap. I was looking for a lap desk that would accommodate my needs, and this fits the bill perfectly! It's' got a cushion on the bottom which is comfortable on my legs. I have a very heavy 17" Dell laptop, and it fits it perfectly. The cooling fan works great and plugs into a USB on the side. I am right handed, so I put the mouse pad platform on the right, so I plug my cooling fan into the left side of the laptop. Otherwise the cord interferes with the mouse if it's plugged into the right, so make sure you have a USB port available on the left if your mouse is on the right. The stand is adjustable, so it can be nearly level all the way up to nearly vertical and several choices in between. The size is compact enough that I can use it while in my recliner and it fits between the arms (I have a big recliner) but big enough to hold the laptop. It is portable, so it folds up flat and stores the removable mouse platform and the cord for the cooling fan inside and has a built in carry handle. This was exactly what I was looking for and I am so very pleased with it! The price is reasonable, too.
