As a new mother and first timer at cloth diapering, these are working out so great. I chose these because they are the most affordable option, and are cotton which works better since microfiber and synthetics irritated my babys skin. I padfold mine into insert shapes and lay them into a diaper cover. It makes cleaning breastmilk poo so easy since the mess is localized. Also makes for quick changes. Of course you do have to clean up any poo that gets on the cover but thats pretty easy. I love how natural and durable they feel. Just note that you should wash and dry them a couple times before using them to wear them in, to increase absorbency. I handwash and line dry all my diapers, since electricity here in mt. Shasta is outrageous. The flats wash out so clean since its a thin single layer, which helps avoid any bacteria build up or rashes. They dry super fast, even indoors. I like the old school natural feel of flat cloth diapers.

I have also tried the alva pocket diapers with microfiber inserts. They were nice but the synthetic material got real stinky when soiled and even when clean irritated babys skin. If you cant afford fancy cotton prefolds or fitteds, consider these flats. I ordered 3 dozen, so that i never worry about running out and have enough if i cant get to washing right away, or if i am travelling.

My baby has never had a rash with these flats used padfolded and layed into a cover. I also use the osocozy flannel reusable wipes, with diluted castile soap water and then finish hus bum with coconut oil. This keeps him clean and rash free.

I never thought i would say this but i a sense of accomplishment everyday lol...for babys skin, saving money, and for the planet!

Love these! I was struggling with microfiber and my was routine and the microfiber just wasn't holding enough and was needing to change the baby every 45 mins to an hour. These work great! They hold a lot and I haven't had any more problems! I sewed one seam just to make folding easier and they dry super fast in comparison to the prefolds! Love them and will be buying more

These are great and just get softer and softer. I use them padfolded in covers on laundry day or for the last change of the evening before we switch to sposies at bedtime. I also use them as a doubler with a cbi in a pocket at naptime and it's the only way my heavy wetter boy doesn't leak. Great quality and great price!

I actually haven't used these for my baby yet, since she's still on the way, so I will update later. But just by looking at and feeling these after washing them, I can tell they are finer quality. They didn't lose tons of lint in the dryer like others I have. I had purchased the Gerber birdseye flats, which are definitely not top quality and WAY smaller, like 23 x 23 - fine for newborns I guess - but these are so much more absorbent feeling, bigger and softer/smoother. I am really excited to use these with the PUL covers I purchased. I was considering purchasing flats from Green Mountain Diapers, and I probably will buy some in the future to compare, but for the price and with Prime shipping, these are a really good deal. You can't beat natural fibers for baby's bottom. And the flats are so simple yet customizable, and wash and dry so easily.

Love these! I've been using prefolds and even flour sack towels to stuff pockets. The prefolds hold a lot and don't leak but are bulky, the flour sack towels are very trim but don't hold much, THESE are so wof T and absorbent and while a bit fluffy, they aren't as stiff as the prefolds. They just fold and lay a lot flatter. I'll be ordering more to use for our newborn and use them with maybe the kite or origami fold with covers. I might try the organic version, but these are just great. Very budget friendly and does a great job!
