Not for underwater repair
Ashley H.June 15, 2016
We have a few minor cracks to fill along our spa wall. Since we can't drain the pool beneath the skimmer line (without buying separate equipment) we were looking for an underwater repair. I ONLY purchased this product because it says it will cure underwater. This is complete BS! As soon as it hits water it crumbles apart. I followed directions very carefully and the mixture was of a good consistency. I tried to apply the mixture while pinched between gloved fingers, protecting it from the water. Nope, that didn't work: it just disintegrated. Tried plastic baggie method: same result. I don't know if this product would work for a dry repair but that's not what I bought it for. I'm going to try pc pool putty epoxy. For those of you in need of underwater repairs I urge you to do the same.
