Gives a peace of mind

After having many issues with a certifiable neighbor we purchased this product. My husband did extensive research on many different systems before we decided on this one. I have recommended this to so many friends since purchasing.
I love the app for this system. The only way to be able to connect remotely from the app is by scanning the barcode on the top of the machine with your phones camera and then it requires a username and password. We had a friend call us from our driveway while we were a few states away to see if there was a delay in the monitoring app, it is very minimal if at all.
The cameras are sleek and I would imagine can be easily camouflaged. The places we put ours are pretty obvious, but I'm pretty sure they have been more of a deterrent. The most difficult part was running the cables for the cameras, but once the cable was hooked up we have had absolutely no issues. We hooked our system up to an LCD flat screen monitor. It works well but can be pricey to run 24/7, so you may want to try a different option there.
The recording and playback option works very well. We have even been able to send a video that was taken on the system. The video is clear, and captures a decent distance. The night vision works fairly well also.
Overall I highly recommend this to anyone on the fence. We have said many times how thankful we are we bought this system.

I bought this power supply because my CCTV security camera has BNC for signal and a 12V DC plug for power. The supply is exactly right for the cable I purchased at the same time. The design of the power supply is great for mounting at or in the security panel box.
Depending on the number of cameras you have, you will have to mount the power supply near one of cable ends. This is because the four power plugs branch out from a single cord and the maximum distance from the cable end to the power supply body is just under 36 inches. If everything is connected to a central point, there is no issue.
It may be worth noting that the power supply does not have a detachable AC power cord. The plug end is two pronged with no grounding pin. This may be something to take into consideration.
I am glad I bought a power supply with several outputs since I just bought another CCTV camera and cable set. The supply output is rated at 2A. This should be enough power for my two cameras. The power supply functions as expected and seems a good, durable product "“ good value for money and although has some limitations, it suits my needs well.

After upgrading my surveillance system and purchasing additional cameras, I found that I was overwhelmed with individual power supplies. These cleaned up the mess of wires I had going on without the need to purchase and install a power distribution cabinet. They provide the clean power I needed and so far have worked quite well. There is very little noise and the power appears to be quite clean.

Just like the preivous reviewer, I was also a bit concerned but went ahead with the purchase. When I got the unit, I checked voltage and polarity at all of the plugs, and everything seemed to be in order so I went ahead. It seems to work just fine for me, powering (at present) two 250 mA IR cameras with no issues.
I really like the fact that the transformer has a normal power cord and is not a "wall wart" style, as it saves room on outlets.
