The quality is top notch but do your self a favor and grind off the flat head screwdriver. I kept cutting my hand before i finally got annoyed enough to grind it off and coat the handle with plasti-dip. You might like having the convenience of having a flat head on the handle but I always carry a multi tool with me anyways.

I purchased a set of Orvis scissor clamps awhile back and found that they were actually too stiff... and too difficult to work with one hand (being left-handed makes these a bit more difficult to unlock.) However - the Dr. Slicks are just perfect! I picked the 6 1/2" straight. Just the right amount of stiffness to hold a good clamp, but easy to unclamp with one hand. The cutters work perfectly as well. Stream tested and very happy with this purchase!

Seem to work well enough. On problem is having to squeeze quite hard to get them closed and locked. I've almost lost them several times thinking they were locked, only to have them spring back open. The pair these replaced were not like that but they were longer so maybe that has something to do with it.

I thought of running to Harbor Freight for some cheap forceps prior to a recent trout fishing trip and I'm very glad I did not. Absolutely a quality product with great clamping ability. They might be a little more expensive then some of the other forceps but well worth the money
