I love udon, yes, I admit it. But I don't like the tedious steps to make udon broth, including prep all the vegetables, boil them, putting bonito flakes in, take them out after few minutes, etc. I still have to prepare cabbages and mushrooms for garnish, but the soup base dramatically reduces cooking time, makes it almost instant yet keeping the authentic flavor. Too satisfied, I also searched for their TV commercial, learned a lot of new ways to use the same soup powder, which is on youtube [...]
I'm making seasoned vegetables with this soup base today.

Easy to make soup:

This soup mix plus
Frozen broccoli (or other veggies) plus
Tofu plus
Frozen udon noodles

It takes about 6 minutes for restaurant quality udon soup. And it's healthy (other than the sodium). No need to pay $15 (plus tax and tip) for it at a restaurant.

Just wanted to make it known that you may get a box of 48 with 2 additional packets included to get the total of 50 count. I didn't get a picture of the additional packets because family had already consumed them by the time I got home :) They said it was tasty and used it to make fishcake soup.
