I used this hone on a 2.4l Volvo block to deglaze and put new cross hatching in the cylinders. This hone works amazing and was worth every penny. I was very nervous about doing this myself but after the first one I was comfortable with it. I used a Dewalt 20v drill on high and ran it up and down multile times for 2 passes using ATF as lubricant. The before and after speaks for itself. This thing works great.

I think I spun the tool a little too fast while honing my cylinders, so make sure you go pretty slow when you use it, however the results speak for themselves.

These things are nice to have for diy idiots I order the 220grit. I think it would have served me better with a little rougher grit. It still works great the first time and i am sure it can and will be used again.
