Very good lights. Great quality

Absolutely a great, quality light for a great price. The lights are solidly built and you can tell they will last for years. This is my third kind of low voltage landscape lights so I feel I am pretty knowledgeable by now. One thing I could do with these that I haven't been able to do with any other is screw the top into the pole and use a rubber mallet to drive the stake into the ground. This really secures the light and didn't even harm the lights in any way.
One recommendation, if you're interested in the LED version of this save your money and buy this version and buy separate LED lights. It'll be much cheaper this way. For whatever reason this company wants to charge an outlandish $12 per LED bulb. You can buy a package of LED bulbs for that price.

Great lights. Well built, look great, and give a good amount of light!

Had these for about two years now. Installed them myself, following a YouTube video. These are hard wired, not clamp together connections, so do your homework. Use silicon gel caps to really protect the wires at the splice points/connections. That way, NO water will get in and cause a short! These babies will last forever! So easy, I did my backyard too! Lights let out a nice amount of light.
One reviewer was bothered by there being no lenses around the lamp, but I've never had a problem, as the top is quite wide and does a good job of protecting the bulb.
I replaced the two pin incandescent bulbs with led for more efficiency. Overall very happy with the quality of the lights. Only problem. A neighbor, walking his two large dogs walked by and one of the dogs hit it hard and broke the plastic stake where it connects to the light post. Very annoying. Didn't bother to stop and tell me. Looks like I need to find a stake replacement. Hoping this company sells them.
Otherwise great purchase. The material is durable and still looks very nice, despite the hot Southern California heat and sun beating.

Really nice looking light at a great price. They look great and seem to last fine. They come with halogen bulb, so I strongly recommend ordering some G4 12 volt bulbs at the same time (the Kakanuo ones are nice and bright!) so as to use much less power and not have to change the bulbs.
The lights are pretty tall, but it is relatively easy to make them taller. The tube fits perfectly into 3/4 inch copper pipe that you can buy at a local hardware store and attach with a simple screw. Rustoleum Metallic Flat Burnished Amber spray paint matches the color perfectly. Cut the copper pipe at a sharp angle and it makes a better spike than the plastic one it comes with.
The precise process I used: unscrew the two small screws holding the bulb socket to the pipe, and pull out the socket and wire assembly. Slide the tube inside the 3/4" copper pipe and overlap 3-4 inches. With a drill, drill a 1/8" hole all the way through both. You will use this hole and 1 1/4" #6 brass screw/nut to hold them together. Then, about 30" from the head, drill a 5/32" hole through one side only of the copper pipe. Screw the bulb socket back in, then thread the wire all the way through and have it come out that hole. Once it's all assembled with the wire coming out the hold in the brass pipe, strip the wires and use screw caps to connect it to additional wire and/or a connector.

These cast a nice broad light, about 4' in either direction. Very easy to take off the top to replace lightbulb. Be aware they don't come with wire connectors like big box brand lights do. you'll need to provide your own. I like the square connectors from Moonrays Moonrays 11604 Cable Connectors for Low Voltage Landscape Lighting, 2-Pack . I replaced the bulbs with LED bulbs from Weanas Weanas® 4x G4 Base 48 LED Light Bulb Lamp 3 Watt AC DC 12V/10V-24V Warm White Undimmable Equivalent to 20W Incandescent Bulb Replacement , found here on Amazon. I went to order several more lights today to finish off my landscape and am disappointed to see they are out, and may not be back.
