I make kombucha, which takes approximately 15 -- 20 days per batch. These bottles ensure we have a constant supply. They are good size and I can see if any of the kombucha starter is in the bottle. The only issue I have with them is that they arrive with the cap assemblies unattached. They are difficult for me to assembly, but can be done. (Having a son with strong thumbs helps too!)
Bottles did not match product description.

We ordered these bottles as a "purchase again" item - same bottles from the same seller - but the size of the bottles were different. The description says "Bottles are 2-3/4" diameter x 10" tall" but these bottles are only 9" tall and a little fatter. In the attached picture, the middle bottle is from the previous order and the outer bottles are from this order. I really was hoping to have the same bottles. This is why I used the "purchase again" option. I'm very disappointed.
They are a nice single serving size

I use these to make kombucha. They are a nice single serving size. The seal is tight enough that I can get carbonation but not so tight that they are impossible to open. What is impossible about these bottles is getting the flip caps on in the first place. No instructions come with the bottles and putting them on is not exactly intuitive because you really have to force them on. I would head over to youtube for a demonstration.

Just got mine and they were easy to put together but I was having trouble as noted by others opening and closing. Literally couldn't push hard enough with my hands to get open. My son figured out that if you push on the bottom sides from the back instead of the loop in front it opens much easier.
Great bottles, would buy again. make your own liquours, it's easy and you'll save money.

With these magical bottles I have made all sorts of creative and wonderful liquours. Some of which are; Lemoncello, coffee liquour, Chocolate Liquour, Vanilla Liquour as well as grapefruit, lime and coconut. I highly recommend them- the tops are tough to get on initially, but I had a friend with good hands and a screwdriver quickly learn how and we were in business. I have actually saved a ton of money with these as those liquours are very expensive pre made and bottled. I can make them at home and of higher quality. The only problem is size- I wish they were bigger as every thing gets drank up so fast! (:
Highly recommend, don't forget the bottle brush to clean them.
