I sleep on my side and when my knees are on top of each, i have severe pain. Tried sleeping with different pillows, but nothing worked until this knee pad. Sleeping better and have no pain during the night.

I bought the product because I bruise easily and after losing a lot of muscle mass recently, the weight of one leg on top of the other while I slept was leaving me with bruises inside my knees and shins. I toss and turn and though pillows feel good when I'm going to sleep, they never stayed in place.

I measured twice and ordered once. Even so, the sleeve seems to be too big as both the top and bottom edges have too much material to conform to my leg but the part around the actual knee fits well and the whole thing stays in place. After two months, the padding has compressed a little but it still works well enough at distributing the weight of my leg so there's no bruising.

I have osteoarthritis in my knee on the inner joint. When I would sleep at night I would wake up often with knee pain from the pressure of it resting on the other knee. Since I have gotten this - no more knee pain at night!! Someone had mentioned there was a "hole" in the padding and they didn't like that; I found that it keeps the joint area from being too bulky. I guess sorta like sitting on one of those inflatable donuts when you have a hemorrhoid! This works perfect for me and it doesn't matter if you sleep on your right or left side or flip around like I do - it stays on and doesn't slip or bulge. I looked at many knee pillows/pads before purchasing this one and am so glad I did! The company - Alpha Medical is also great to deal with - I had ordered the wrong size, and Amazon was able to contact them before it shipped and they changed it, the company also emailed me personally to let me know that it had been taken care of. Great Customer service by both Amazon and Alpha Medical! update: still love this knee pillow, when the weather is bad my knee does still hurt - day or night. I imagine the pain would be worse without the pillow though on those nights.

I am a side sleeper and I starting having knee and hip pain. Initially I used this and other device on my ankle. Both helped but, unlike the other, this is comfortable and stays in place so I am continuing to wear it.

After measuring my leg, I ordered the medium size. It proved to be a bit small so I went up to a large. The device works well. My knee and leg pain while I am sleeping (which wakes me up) has disappeared after a few days of using it. I haven't found it to move around/slip - even the large stays in place. I can turn easily in bed, unlike with a knee pillow. It's made a real difference for my sleeping pattern.
