Great Value!
Teresa•September 13, 2017
Ok... this is a huge bag of couscous. At the price though, I just can't see that as a bad thing! So tasty with a little bit of seasoning, and super easy to make. It's probably worth noting that, while huge, the bag is not in itself re-seal able. I poured some into a clean tin for regular use and used a heat sealer to re-close the bag with the rest in it for storage. If you didn't have a heat sealer or a very large container to put this in, it could quickly become quite a mess.
Excellent!

We started eating couscous on a regular basis and found that purchasing at a box store was quite costly. This is a great item, purchase a large seal-able container and you're off, will continue to purchase, excellent item!
Good Stuff

We feed our dogs Couscous along with their dog food and grated chicken. They love it. I like the fact that I do not have to cook it - I just put one cup full in hot water for 15 minutes and it is done. Rick and Macaroni require cooking.
Best value small-grain couscous on Amazon!

This is great couscous. It is small-grained couscous (~1 mm in diameter), not "pearl couscous" (about 3-4 mm in diameter).
At ~$20 for 10 lbs of couscous, this is likely one of the cheapest options for buying couscous in most places in the USA.
The couscous comes in a plastic bag similar to the plastic bags frozen fruit or veggies come in. The bag itself is about 14"x12" (35x40 cm) and is typically 2-3" (5-7 cm) thick when placed flat. It's sturdy enough. The bag does not have any zipper or resealable mechanism: once it's opened, you'll want to find a way to keep it closed (e.g. a rubber band), or you can transfer it to your favorite available container.
This cooks well by boiling in a pan. I actually keep this at work with me and add dry ingredients and the couscous into a bowl and add hot water and let it sit for 3-5 minutes to absorb the water. It could also be cooked in a microwave. It can also be cooked by steaming.

A food so nice they named it twice

Arrived quickly and without any punctures in the bag.
Good quality and taste, worth the purchase if you happen to eat a lot of couscous. This is the small grain like couscous which is what I wanted. I often make a lot of different dishes using couscous and lots of those dishes require this kind of small grain kind and this beats the small boxes of couscous i used to buy from Near East by far.
Glad to have made the purchase and will buy again when I run out which will be soon because I have already used up 5lbs and its hard to keep from making such simple and easy yet tasty dishes every other day specially my mixed veggie curry couscous with roasted pine nuts and sunflower seeds, my family cant seem get enough of it and im happy they like it as much as i do.
