The main part with the cleaning pad will not fit and snap into place. The blue top piece will not fit into the grey pole piece. This kind of makes the whole situation moot and unusable. Very disappointed. As you can see from the picture, this is as far as the piece will fit. Not all the way till it snaps and locks into place. Can't wash windows like this. How did they mess this up????

Heard about this from a family member! We usually do our windows with a deck brush, bucket of simple solution, and a garden hose to wash 16 windows. The process takes over an hour. Just tried this cleaner combo and it cut it down to about 20 minutes. Pretty simple: the telescopic pole has a velcro-style surface that you attach a disposable, pre-Windexed pad to. Spray the window with a hose, wet the pad to activate the solution, and wash the window. Rinse the window and move to the next one. The solution on the pad has a sheeting quality to it that makes the glass dry quickly without streaks. You toss out the pad when it gets dirty. We used 4 pads on our windows (buy refills via Amazon, they come 2/pk). So worth it! Can't imagine doing windows any other way.

I have used this WINDEX brand cleaning wand for years and I finally broke the plastic clip that holds the pad holder to the wand. (No replacement available)
I usually wash 32 glass deck panels ( 2'x6') on both sides as well as 6 large picture windows and 2 slider doors. The wand swivels in all directions for complete cleaning. Two pads provide enough soap to all these windows, doors and glass panels.

I should preface this by saying that my windows were pretty streaky from trying to clean them with a squeegee that didn't work well. But this product did absolutely nothing for them. The streaks were still there. I had to clean with windex spray and paper towels to get them clean. Which is a huge pain since they are HUGE windows and it had to be done in sections from a ladder! I may try once more later - now that they are streak free - to see how it works, but it will be a while! I was really disappointed in the results though. The idea is great - no ladder needed, and no special cleaners.

I have one window that is very hard to reach and gets covered in salty spay from the winter storms here on the Oregon coast. This makes it hard to see the beautiful view of the ocean which is why we live here so I decided to try this window cleaner. I did have to add an extension to the handle but it screwed in easily then followed the directions and a few minutes later I had a lovely streak free window. I will buy this product again.
