Cheaply made

Did not last more than a year and the casing is cheap- i would have gladly paid double or more for well built lights with lithium rechargable batteries
The lights were bright when they worked but just cheaply mad

Super bright for extra visibility, has a slight whine when turned on

Great bold color, but it makes a quiet, high-pitched whine when turned on, sounds a bit like tinnitus. I don't think the noise is enough to deter me from making this purchase again, I just would have liked to have known about it first since I'm prone to migraines. The noise is only noticeable when the light is on, so if you use the flickering setting, you'll here a high-pitched pulsing rather than a continuous whine.
Make sure you put this in an spot where the on/off button is easy to access. To turn it off, you'll have to cycle through the other light settings, which is a bit frustrating since mine is a too close to my chain guard.

Didn't realize this makes you look like a cop at night lol, not a good thing in my neighborhood, lol, but other than that works perfectly, just gotta get myself a green or yellow one next time, no blues lol
Cool and safe

My son has this product for 6months now. It was easy to install. It's particularly great during fall time when it's getting dark much earlier. I can spot him from far away and most importantly so can all the vehicles, so not only it looks cool but it's also a great safety device! I also bought this for my daughter and now more kids around the block also purchased this.
Nice and bright. Great value.

Provides a respectable amount of light for the twilight hours I ride. This makes me *much* more visible to drivers and after a month of using, it hasn't skipped a beat. I use rechargable batteries with it (eneloop) and did notice that when the battery power gets low the strobe function slows down and the constant turns into a slow strobe.
One other oddity with the light is you can here a slight high pitch noise for all but the fastest strobe setting. No one else I've asked has heard it, but it reminds me of a camera flash recharging. I'm probably just be a little nit-picky, but it doesn't detract from the light and I am thinking of ordering another one.
If I have to come up with a negative, the battery compartment can be a little tricky to close back up and when connected to a bike with the included zip ties, it can be difficult to remove the batteries.
