This tea cup is even more beautiful in person! It's a cute small size and the art and make of the mug is delicate and beautiful. Yes, like other reviews said, the sides of the cup get VERY hot. But have patience, and it will be worth it.

I use this cup everyday to drink tea and I absolutely love it. My only complaints would be that the white interior has a few small black dots which takes away from the otherwise perfect cup.

Great cup. Perfect size for a cup of tea. I have ordered another one to go with the first one i got. Yes the sides do get hot but if you hold it from the bottom you are all good. Let it sit on your hand with your other hand lightly around it to make sure it will not fall with out burning your hand. Has finger holds on the side make it easy to grip. It is made by miya, so the quality is high.

I bought this a few years ago as a Christmas gift for my husband since he loves green tea and I already had a Japanese cup that I use when we brew in our Tetsubin. The design is gorgeous and the size is just right - it's a traditional tea cup all around. The only thing is that the cup will get extremely hot with fresh tea inside, so you shouldn't fill it to the top as you won't be able to hold it. The inside is a light color but does not hold stains as long as you wash it after use. The divots for your fingers are also a nice touch.
