Best Choice I've Found

Good, high quality hose. There are cheaper models available, but don't waste your money. The extra cash is worth what you save in aggravation later.
This hose remains flexible under cold weather conditions (nothing more irritating than trying to stretch your hose to fill up a tire when it's cold outside and the hose won't uncurl). The connectors are good quality and solidly attached, although you will want to add quick-disconnects.
After several years of use on a reel, I still don't have any issues with leaks, punctures, blowouts, etc. I also haven't noticed any significant drop in pressure at the hose ends due to high friction with the air flow.
All in all, highly recommend.

No good, at least the ones I recevied...

Cheap! leaked at the fittings and they didn't have bent restrictors like the ones I purchased over a year ago. I wouldn't buy them again.
Very Good Product, Confusing Model #

Very good, solid air hose. This hose is not the EP 46505, nor is it a 46505 as listed, but the goodyear #12672 without the bend restrictors. Appears to be the same otherwise, but nowhere does it mention the 10 year waranty on the package. So, don't be upset if it's not warrantied for the 10 years. I'm keeping the hose because the picture of the product does not have bend restrictors, and when trying to save a buck, you 98% of the time always get what you pay for. I would have gladly payed the extra $12.00 if this item had not shown under the 46505 model. The product selection is all on me. I shall remember this lesson the next time. 59 and still learning.
Best Air hose I have used

I purchased the 3/8-Inch 50ft 250 PSI version and couldn't be happier. I no longer use any of my other brand hoses. The main difference for me was that this hose has a consistent feel in almost every temperature. Compared to the cheap hoses that come with some compressors this one does not get stiff in the cold. I have had this hose for a year now and have used it in temperatures as low below 20F with it being stored in my non-insulated garage. I am able to drag it out and it lays smooth and then roll it back up with little effort. Nothing like using the cheap hoses that become rock hard in the cold and will only unravel in the hot sun. Having dragged it over all types of surfaces both outside and in through doors and windows it has no damage. I've had it slammed in doors a few times and it holds up perfectly. I plan to purchase a second one as a gift and would purchase again for myself as well. The only downside I can think of, and this isn't a downside for me, is that the hose is slightly heavier than cheaper hoses I have. That can only be due to the higher quality of this hose which is worth it to me.
Staying flexible in the cold

Bought this to extend a 50 footer that got stiff in the cold. I put this one on the overly heavy compressor (housed on our screened in front porch) and the other one on as needed for our cars that park on the street. I now have enough length to fill tires that are parked quite far away. It seems very sturdy and has remained flexible. I may even buy another cheap 100' hose so that I can reach my detached garage where I have lots of toys....
