Terrific product for a very lazy, tired, and/or stressed-out chef. This will thicken your gravy/sauce and give it a pleasant brown color, some flavor, and (most importantly) only moderate saltiness. I personally wouldn't make gravy just from this stuff, but if you have a food with good flavor and some existing thin sauce, add a little of this and go from there. For example, saute mushrooms and onions until browned, well reduced, and very tender. This is already a good start, but add a little red or white wine and some gravy powder and stir till you have some sauce with your mushrooms and onions. *Then*, stir in heavy cream, and you have soup! Muahahaha!

Very rich, layered flavor, much more than just the normal gravy mix flavor. My family noticed right away, the color is richer and deeper. I do suggest incorporating the mix with a small amount of cool water to insure the gravy is well incorporated to avoid lumping.
