I'm currently working on my little office setup and I needed some cable covers to achieve a minimalist look. I had an idea of what I was looking for since I just needed the cable covers to hide one power cable at a time. I purchased the smallest size of these cable covers with the appropriate lengths. I ordered these longer than I needed with the idea of cutting them and placing them in different areas. I purchased two brown cable covers for my wood linoleum flooring. I must say that the brown color on these match and work very well with a dark wood floor. I also bought one white cable cover because I wanted to paint it and use it on my actual wall. I was skeptical at first about painting the white cable cover but I found out that the PVC material is very durable and it also allows paint to stick to it without having to prep or sand the PVC. If you have any cutting tools like a power saw or even a hand saw these covers should be easy to cut to provide a custom size and fit. The adhesive on the backing of the covers seem very strong and stick to the floor very well. I wasn't sure if these would be able to stick to the wall and hold up but surprisingly they did. The paint on my wall is semi gloss and these covers stuck very well. I'm confident that these will stick on the wall without having to secure them with anything else. These cable covers seem to be made out of good quality and for the price I really think they are worth putting in the extra effort to achieve a good looking cable management system. The cable covers can sometimes be a little hard to snap into place but with a little force they will eventually lock into place. They are very easy to unlock so if any issues with your cables occur you can easily replace them and snap the covers back on. I really liked working with this material and it made things simple and straight forward for my setup. I definitely recommend these cable covers, don't be afraid to get creative these covers are very durable and for the price pick up a longer length so there is more room for error.

I have warm toned hardwood floors. Upon other reviews, I decided to go with the color terracotta against my original thought of the wood grain. I made a great choice because it matches about as close as I could have possibly gotten! I went with the smallest size CSX-1 in 31". I had to order two more as this was too short for what I needed. The smallest size which is what I ordered is just big enough to hold the width of a cable cord. I had a tiny phone cord and a cable cord and it barely snapped closed! Hope this helps others when deciding color or size. I have included a picture that shows color against my wood floors and also shows how the cords fit.

After trying to decipher what other reviewers bought as far as color in their pictures I ended up going with the terracotta color. This one is the 31" CSX-1. I purchased two and obviously need some more which I've already ordered. I am happy with the color, I think it was the closest match I could have gotten and the one cable cord is a perfect fit; definitely can't put anything else in there. We are renting so these are perfect for our situation. I gave it 4 stars because as you can see in the picture the fist one isn't sticking to the floor the way it should so I'll have to figure something out for that one that won't ruin the floors. On a good note for other renters, these do come up clean. The other one seems to have better adhesive and hasn't moved.

I bought this in the wood grain and stained it to match my floor, can hardly tell it's on the floor. I think it will look better if I get a white extension cord.

I ordered the faux cherry wood color, hoping that it would match my cherry paneling cabinetry in our family room, where the big-screen TV is located. Unfortunately their version of cherry is quite red, and won't match my paneling at all (see pic). Also--the back side of the trim is not wood grain--it is a clay/red solid. So even if the faux cherry top piece matched better, there would still be visible top and bottom strips that would not match. That's unfortunate for even people who's cherry finish at home matches the Cable Shield color better than mine did.

So while the function of this product is excellent (I also purchased black for a different location), I give the cherry color only 3 stars because (a) it's much more red than most true cherry finishes to begin with, and (b) they didn't finish the bottom piece to match.
