This summer I wanted to learn how to tan a hide and learned about this as I'm not looking to start mixing chemicals my first time. I tanned a dried muskrat with it which used up about 1/5 of the bottle. When I looked online someone said that the instructions fail to mention adding an acid to the pickle at the end step. I added vinegar to the salt bath. Muskrat came out fine but I don't really have anything to compare it to.

Worked well. You may need to experiment with the processes, but this solution works well.
