The statute itself is beautiful; however upon receipt, the eagle's beak was broken. I reached out three (3) times to the seller and had no response. Now trying to figure out how to fix it so I can use it as planned. Very disappointed with seller.

I ordered two of these American Pride Bald Eagles. The ornate detail and beauty of the item rates 5 stars. The reason I rated a 1, is that the item is made of a thin plaster that is not fired, it's light weight and top heavy. One made it though shipping fine, which is amazing. Amazing because the other had a broken wing, which was disappointing. There was Styrofoam packaging to some degree, but not fully enclosing the item. Due to the thin construction of it, there is little packaging that could fully protect it. I had intended to post two of them on pedestals at our front door, but even it both had made it fine, I could not have done this. The light weight and heavier top than bottom of the eagles would have blown them off the pedestals and shattered them. I will keep the one received without breakage (not that I really need it) and place it indoors and out of reach from others to protect it. I will have to search for a more durable outdoor type but feel I will not find the detail and beauty that this one displays. Overall, I would not recommend this item, based on the poor manufacturing process, shipment packaging and the cost.

This was a complete surprise for my husband. He absolutely loves collecting a well made sculpture. This will be a yard ornament. The other one was stolen. This one will be very securely placed.

The tail was broken when it arrived. Also some pieces were chipped. We glued the tail on as it is too much trouble to send back for replacement.
