Hot tub must be EMPTY to set this up!
Shelyn✓ Verified Purchase•August 5, 2018
Purchased this for my hot tub and it's a great little handle. Personally I feel it is overpriced but didn't have many options as needed it. I wish that it stated the tub needed to be EMPTY to use it as we had just filled out tub so it was kind of a mute point as an afterfact. We ended up putting some cement blocks on it to weigh it down and if we have to empty the tub will install it correctly but was disappointed in that fact and would have purchased one that bolted to the side had I known. The handle lights up but it's just a cheap little led unit and I don't see the point in it. Overall, it does the job.
Very Stable Handle (and How to Assemble the Light)

Very impressed with this item. Assembled easily and slid right under the spa after draining for cleaning. Has a little "give" to it, but the rotating feature is great. Very stable.
The instructions do not include how to install the light. Here's what worked well for me:
1 - Install the batteries (to make sure the light works)
2 - Disconnect the battery pack from the light (there's a small junction between the two, squeeze the retaining clips together and pull the sections apart)
3 - Remove the rubber cover from the top of the switch
4 - Feed the switch through to its hole from the inside of the tube and press it into the hole until it snaps into place
5 - Replace the rubber cover on the outside of the switch "“ you may need to work it back into the gap a bit
6 - Reconnect the wires
7 - Insert the battery pack into the tube, sliding it alongside the switch (to allow clearance for the light)
8 - Insert the light unit into the tube, aligning the small button to the corresponding small hole in the tube, just behind the switch

Love this.

Good quality. BUT JUST A NOTE TO REMEMBER. This has to be installed before you add the water. It goes UNDER the hot tub. If you put water in the tub before you slide this under....you cant use it, you will feel stupid, your wife will yell at you and your kids won't be able to get in and out of the tub without you helping them. It has a blue light on it the is fantastic and just enough light to give off a nice blue color if you are in the tub at night. Happy with product.
It is really nice to have a handle to get in and out ...

It is really nice to have a handle to get in and out of the spa. This was a great purchase. I don't use the light on the end and actually forget that it even lights up. It is nice that you can swing the arm in the whatever direction you choose. I made the mistake of not putting it fully under the spa before filling it with water. I will be happy when I do my water change and can slide it all of the way in. At least it still works even though its not slid in all of the way.
Perfect for Safe Entry!

Safety is a major concern for me. I have owned a spa for over forty years, but never had a hand rail before. Now my knees are acting up and my bones are fragile, I don't want to risk falling as I climb in and out of the spa. Once in place, this sturdy hand rail is perfect for balance and secure pivoting in and out of the spa. I like that it rotates and is easy to grab hold of. I'm hefty size and this thing has no problem with my pulling and pushing up. Love it! Wish I knew about these things years ago. It relieves my anxiety when getting in and out of my spa.
Be sure you have it in a place that is best for you, as it is impossible to reposition once the spa is filled with water.
