Fantastic children"s play/educational toy!!!!!
Good...but could be better

This toy is great for my 2 year old, and it would have done nicely for him earlier as well. However, the alphabet is messed up (two H's, no J's) which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars. The top part also does NOT look like the picture- the middle part is not taller and they are so close together that it is sometimes hard/frustrating for my son to move the beads.
I love it!

After reading the reviews I was worried I would be up all Christmas Eve night fixing and repairing, but it came in perfect condition. The beaded coasters are not all one height, but it definitely doesn't have any tall coasters, as shown in the first picture. It's very sturdy, isn't very heavy (for an adult), can be rolled around with ease, and is very cute. I'm very happy I bought this for my son.
Nice non-messy toy, even for the living room

I really like this cube. Only my kids have played with it so far, but I love that both can play at the same time and use different age appropriate areas. I started with my 6m and 2 year old - now its 5 months later. They don't use it all the time, but they do use it. I also like how it doesn't ruin the look of the room its in. I'm a designer, so I'm very picky about that. Maybe it's because you see them all the time in doctors offices so it doesn't seem out of place. But, I think it's also because it's a nice, clean, wooden piece of "furniture" that is not messy. All the parts to it are contained so there's never any pieces all over the floor, mess to pick up, etc. That's nice. I just plop my 6m (10m) down in front of it and he plays. My 2.5 year old likes the top part to move all the beads to one side. A bit of a perfectionist? So, I have to mix it all up when she's not there so she has something to do next time.
