Well, just like all nets, they give out in time......so i replaced a pretty decent net i had for a few years with this one. Seems pretty sturdy and functions well. Don't know how long it will hold up, but after a month of having this, we are pleased.

I bought this based on a review that said it was "heavy"
okay.
it is light as a feather.
but what I love is that it is Tightly Woven.
usually I have to get in the pool after skimming, and then
re-skim with another hand held to get the fine lil nats out.
wow. this thing is incredible !!
I've just used it this morning.
I sure hope that it lasts throughout the season.
I seem to buy a new one every year.
kinda done with that big box one. netting is too loose.

Holy Hades, unless you have an indoor pool, expect to drop this baby on your toe when you pick it up after it is in the sunlight. I could probably use the pole to curl my hair. Very heavy and sturdy, so if you nudge it into the water with the toe of your flip flop so it can cool off before use, know that it'll sink to the bottom in three seconds flat. I gave it four stars because it's a great skimmer, but knocked one off because of how hot it gets and how heavy it is (strain a back muscle getting that one leaf out in the middle of the pool and you'll need to invite a chiropractor over for some pool time).
