Be familiar with how your generator start/stop (switching and timing) works to wire it properly.

The unit was easy to physically install and works great. If for some reason we lose shore power, the gen will start if it gets too hot inside the RV.
However it was a little tricky to wire up to the generator start-stop switch. Even though I have a common set-up, and is mentioned in the instructions there was no information on how to wire it properly. The instruction did fully explain the operational function of the MEAGSN internal switching so it was not difficult to figure out what needed to be done.
