I'm really happy with the Alfa AWUSO36NH it worked really well with my MacBook Pro and my Kali Linux virtual machine. The only thing that really bothered me was how difficult Alfa made it to uninstall their network utility, I'm sure it would have been easy if I hadn't lost the installation cd that came inside the box. i tried visiting their website to see if I could possibly download the software I needed to uninstall the network utility but I had no luck. After drinking a couple 40's and eating a double-double no tomato with grilled onions and an order of animal fries with the fries well done I ended up figuring it out. Alfa your website needs help, I'm going to say a prayer for you guys tonight hopefully baby Jesus can help you get it together.

Perfect. Haven't had a chance to use this out in the field yet, just tested it in the office. Uninstalled the software/drivers from my old one and installed this one. Online notes only reference Windows support up to version 8, but the disk that shipped with it also includes Windows 10. The new utility on my Windows 10 machine is outstanding, integrates perfectly. Will be using in my work truck with an external 9dbi antenna. I will try to remember and write a follow up after I have had a chance to use it in the field.

Works great. I bought this to do some penetration testing on my home wifi network. I plugged it into my laptop running kali linux and I was able to start using it right away. I didn't have to mess around with drivers or anything. I may have had them installed from when I was previously messing around with the internal wifi adapter, but I am not sure.
Best signal on the market

Probably the best signal out of a wireless card. I usually use rosewell PCIe cards but recently they caused my computers to crash and the signal wasn't all that great. Decided to get away from internal cards and try this adapter. I will for sure but plenty more since the range and setup is so great. Only con is no 5ghz but I honestly don't use that. I get super fast speeds on 2.4 anyways.

This wireless adapter installed on Windows 10 without issue and works with Linux through virtual box. Also noticeably increased the range of my home wifi.
