Not even worth $13. Dont waste money! Find a better option!

Dont be like me and ignore the bad reviews! This tea box is really low quality. I should have listened to the reviews warning me how bad it is, but i figured it couldnt be too bad. The top is really scratched up plastic, the middle sections came battered up... i could have gotten a better one at goodwill for $3. i will keep it because i still need a tea chest...and i will still use it but ill have to be very gentle with it, as i am worried that the hinges will break out of the crappy wood. Dont waste your money!
Beautiful Boxes, but You Get What You Pay For; Also, Not Everything Will Fit

I purchased two of these boxes because, yes, I have that much tea. I mean, it is a you-get-what-you-pay-for situation--it's a clear plastic, and the wood isn't very heavy, indicative of the $20-23 dollars you have to pay to get it. Both of the ones I got were in fairly good shape, though. The only flaws were a scratch or two in the clear plastic of the second one.
Generally, I was able to fit most of my tea bags into the two boxes. The only exceptions were my Bigelow Earl Grey multi-packs (multiple bags in one packet), and my Mighty Leaf packets, with the pyramid shaped bags. I also didn't feel comfortable putting my exposed Celestial bags in the box--just a precaution as I'm not sure type of paint they used, also the boxes were a little dusty when received.
Also, I had Tazo tea similar to what's pictured. I put them in a middle, back slot and it seemingly made it hard to close the box all the way. I haven't tried to move them to the front, as pictured here, yet, but if done and the problem persists, I will update the review accordingly.

Terrible quality; not at all worth the price. Don't buy this tea box. The wood is cheaply finished, and the "glass" panel on top is actually just plastic glued to the inside. Worthless. Will be sending back.

Can't relate to other people's negative comments about this Wooden Tea Bag Chest as it's very sturdy and perfect for tea's. I was searching for a Tea Chest for a while and once I found this gem.... I figured I would give it a try. The Tea Chest came in a protected box and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The compartments are perfect for my tea assortment and the glass offers a great display of the various Tea's I have. Definitely well worth it for the price.
