Unlike the Gerber plastic pants, which actually will melt in the dryer!!!, these are not only water proof but allow the young child's skin to breath. And they hold up exceptionally well in laundering with light bleach and going through the dryer over and over. They are worth a little extra cost for those reasons. Wonderful idea for baby showers because they along with cotton training pants will save young families a tremendous amount of money otherwise spent on disposables.

I never write reviews but these are terrible! My 3 yr old is mostly potty trained just the rare occasion she has an accident sleeping. I'm tired of buying pull ups that she really doesn't need so I thought these would be great over underwear for bed. Her entire bed including herself was soaked in pee! These covers do nothing! I don't see how they work for anything other then covering a regular diaper. I saw people have posted reviews saying they put them on over underwear but it had to be when the child was awake. Do Not buy

These are very effective (for minor accidents) and fairly lightweight. They do tend to cause some sweat if the child is very active in them. They're easy to clean and fit nicely under clothes, even though they seem pretty balloon-like when you put them on.

These worked very well on my son. I am starting to potty train him, and of course he had a pee-pee accident in his underwear. But with the plastic covering over the top, there were no leaks. My son is a big 2 year old, he's 32 lbs. So I bought him the size for 30 lbs and up. I think it was a medium or large. I will definitely be ordering more of these.
