Overpriced and flimsy

Floppy and flimsy. The cords that tie in the back frayed after just a couple days. Felt weird on my head. Seemed cheaply made (despite not actually being cheap at all). I would recommend sticking with just a normal baseball cap or more traditional beach hat.

At first I loved this visor and was ready to order it in a few other colors for the beach. That is until I used it for the first time... As I try to adjust back string the tread that hold it together came off. Not the quality you want...

Excellent hat, it's my second hat. The first one I bought to keep in the car after moving to Florida and it has been wonderful. The second hat I bought was primarily for my outdoor water aerobics class. They wash up beautifully.
Great Visor to Use While Driving

After being diagnosed with skin cancer on my face, I was in the market for wide-brim hats. This visor worked well for my purpose--avoiding sun exposure while driving. I wanted a visor that had a wider brim for greater coverage when the car's visor could not be used. It's still easy for me to see when I'm wearing it and it shades my face in the car, as I had hoped.
I really like the fact that the part that fits around my head is made of swimsuit-like material. It's stretchy yet can be adjusted using a tie in the back (not velcro, which gets caught in my hair), making the fit customized and comfortable.

I have had one of these for about 2 years a love it! I wear it when I walk everyday and it gets sweaty but it washes up very nicely, plus it hasn't faded in that time in (usually) sunny CA. We're going on a trip and I needed a hat or visor that will pack well, still look good and not be too hot, so I ordered 2 more in different colors and they will be perfect. I think if you have a smaller head they might be too big for you and my older one has stretched out enough that I'm going to re-sew the back loop casing to make the band a bit smaller. Other than that, I highly recommend this visor.
