Don’t buy.

You. Do. Not. Keep. Females. There is a law that you can keep them over a certain size - but with out females, they can not repopulate. CATCH AND RELEASE. Always put them back. Also, if you're buying crabs from amazon, you don't know real seafood.

Being from Maryland I get this insane craving for soft shell crabs. I read the reviews but still couldn't control myself. Turned out to be pretty much what everyone else said. They were super small and smelled fishy. I got them very fast, 2 days. When I opened the box they were already defrosted. And they were mushy. Took one bite and gave the rest to my chickens. Sad face.
