On October , 4 2017 , I bought the TracOne Universal Truck rack . It did not bring the correct brakers then I have to order it's separated more than $ 64 . I received it today and did not bring the aluminum shims, and the bolt with washer to screw into support base. In the review of this product said , it will be included . Could I receive it's by the price that I already paid? . Please I needs thise

Seriously? For $66 you would think they would send you a complete kit. As mentioned in previous posts the 'kit' does not come with mounting bolts and the bolts that come with the tracrac one system are entirely too long.

Works well & does what it says, but def expensive & they should sell this with a kit specifally for a Tacoma instead of making you buy one after the fact. Oh well I guess beggars can't be choosers. FML.
A simple hardware change and it's a five-star product.

This kit is required to fit the TracOne system onto the listed models of Tacomas. I was given the TracOne rails as a gift and so the purchaser wasn't familiar with what would be required and so they were obviously dissapointed that I had to make another purchase in order to use my birthday gift. Regardless, the clamps work well but the unit does not come with bolts. As others have said, you are expected to use the bolts from the original rail kit and I can guarantee that they will not work. They are too long to physically fit. After searching some online forums I found the best answer was to go to a hardware shop and purchase eight hex bolts and replace the original hardware altogether. Still a pain to install/uninstall but once on they do work well.

My husband bought this kit to fit his 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. However, the clamp is about 1/2inch too short. We were on a tight schedule and ended up fumbling for HOURS over this dilemma. We finally had to settle on some temporary clamps that we found at a local truck store. Called TracRac who stated they are in production and not expected to be out until May 2016. Hope this helps people not waste time like we did!
