I love almonds. I adore them. I also love peanut butter. I thought this would be a healthier option. It surely is and I did expect it to taste different without the added sugar and salt, but I wasn't expecting it to taste like, well, glue. Or at least what I think glue might taste like. It was creamy and looked delicious, and smelled delicious, but no flavor at all. I tried mixing it up, I tried it on different things, but it just was like a flavorless paste. So if you have never had saltless sugarless almond butter before and you love peanut butter, this might not be for you.

It's not that the item tastes bad. But based on the price, i had pictured much larger packages. i got this on a "lightening deal" for over 15.00. The total package contents? each packet holds maybe a half teaspoon at most of almond butter (i think far less than that, it's like a lick of it. it's all packaging. it's worth maybe $5.00 because almond butter is expensive. NOT 15.00, and certainly NOT 19.00.

Plus while the vacuum-seal of the packaging may seem appealing, it's hard to get the almond butter out. so a lot gets wasted. (meaning, if you get a quarter teaspoon out of a pouch, you're doing well) and since almonds use a huge amount of the scarce water supply where they grow, and the packaging is horrible for the environment, two thumbs down on the impact on environment for this one. let's leave something for our children.

i honestly think if you ate the whole box, losing some in the foil pouch, you'd get about 1/4 teaspoon x 24 packages = 6 teaspoons of almond butter. for over 19.00 dollars! i did the math - it's over $1.60 per teaspoon.

And it came with the box open, and the pouches shoved all in different directions back in the box - which means someone handled it at amazon which makes me feel like i have to wash the pouches off first, because the intent was to put the open end of the pouch in your mouth.

The almond butter is very good, but it is a rather small jar. Posting a pic for size reference with regular peanut butter jar. It's not much bigger than a can of tomato paste. Just don't want you to be as surprised as I was when it arrived.

Creamy, doesn't separate, great taste! Prior to this I was using a natural peanut butter but I decided to switch to almonds to get a calcium boost easily, First I tried a store brand and found out it was full of sugar. This product has no added sugar. Plus the Amazon price is half the price of the same product at my local grocery store!

I have bought this brand of almond butter at the store several times but Amazon had a much better price. When I purchased at the store, it never separated. This is just gross and you can't even stir it because the almond butter down at the bottom is rock solid. There's a good 3 inches of straight oil.
