Great product. You really have to follow the instructions or you may not build up pressure you have to get it up to a full boil then drop the heat some. Perfect for camping and can be used in a solar cooker.
Love it.

My brother and I took this cooker backpacking recently, first time we used it.
I deliberated quite a bit over whether or not to get it, and finally decided the extra weight of this cooker over a lighter-weight pot would be offset by lower fuel weight.
It performed very well, really speeding up cooking time. As we were up over 9700 feet in elevation, a more efficient pot was worth the money, and worth packing in.
It'd be nice if the weight could be decreased, but it's very good quality, and I certainly wouldn't want it to blow the pressure valve or fail in some way. You get what you pay for.
Completely satisfied.

Seems to be pretty well made.
The problem is the manual or lack of.
The manual that comes with the Pressure cooker says replace the seal every 2 years, no problem?
There is no parts list included and GSI will not answer e-mails.
I have tried to contact both sales and service no answer.
Amazon does not have the seal or any other parts listed.
So you pay for a pressure cooker and can't get parts.
I did not want a product that is only good until a normal wear part needs to be replaced.
Our other pressure cooker/canner is over 30 years old and I can still get parts for it. (yes the manual has the part numbers)
Follow up- GSI got returned my email and I was able to order the replacement O-ring seal.
Still only 4 stars because manual does not have part numbers.
