Post lamp

High quality! Very easy to put together and install as long as you follow directions. Extremely satisfied! You will need to purchase a 4x4 six foot pressure treated post quick dry cement and the lamp itself. Very satisfying once installation is complete! Highly recommend!
Great Value Product!

I bought this to replace my wooden lamp post which had rotted at the base. I am very happy with the value and quality of the product. Installation was easy and it looks great. You do need to buy a 4x4 post (i used 4x4x8 pressure treated) and concrete to set the post which should be 36" deep - make sure you have a level to ensure it is set straight. You secure the lamp post to the 4x4 with 4 screws and i found it to be very sturdy.. The company provides clear directions and plenty of information so you can tell that they stand behind the quality of the product (lifetime warranty certificate and certificate of ownership!). I replaced my mailbox stand a few years ago with a similar product, so I knew that this would work great for the lamp post.
Good product. Looks nice.

Hardest part is installing the base pole which requires a deep hole to set the post. Once that's done, the product slips over the top. You have to make sure you put it over the post right as it only goes on one way even though the base post is 3.5*3.5. otherwise power cable doesn't feed properly.
Love it

Even with the streetlight, it's hard to make out anything at night which is a big problem when you're coming home late from work & could back up into the spouse's car. LOL. So, we looked into adding a post. I like the style and look of this post, it matches the exterior of our home, and the vinyl is very durable. Box itself had a decent sized hole on the side, but the vinyl took only a few scratches. Order comes with pretty much everything you need (minus the wood post you'll slip this over and the pole digger, of course).
Watched the video on assembly and while I did have to return to it and the instruction booklet several times during the process, it's really just a matter of sliding the parts in & gluing. The concrete glue is very strong and you'll definitely want to make sure to work in a well-ventilated area and let it dry 24 hours as instructed. We opted to leave off the extender piece, dug our hole, put the post in with some quikrete, added house numbers (purchased on Etsy), & a solar light (found here: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08925MJD2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). All in all, a quick weekend job, and it looks great at the end of our driveway. We love it.

Original Installation Design Needs Modifying

For the price, this post is great. As a few others have mentioned, there is definitely a problem with the install instructions that will need to be addressed. The main post section is in two parts, the lower half being much shorter with a connection piece to the taller section. To keep everything perfectly plumb and secure, I anchored the 4x4 in a 12" Sonotube filled with concrete after running a piece of 3/4" conduit up for my power wire. I cut wood blocks (shims) to center the bottom of the bottom section, then in the third picture, shimmed the bottom of the top section. The second picture (looking down from the top of the top section) is a wood block holding the top section secure and plumb. It is screwed down into the top of the 4x4.
Maybe this can spark some ideas for those that are able?
Peace
