Let me start by saying that this product tastes great. Unfortunately, the consistency is that of apple sauce, not apple butter. Its thin and mostly water. Not a spread at all. You could buy some sugar free applesauce, add some spices, and save half the price. Hey, guys, cook it a bit longer, let it reduce and thicken, and you'd have something great. As it stands, meh...

This is a great Apple butter!! I was surprised to read one customer describe it as bland. We found it to be very strong, spicy and delicious. So happy to have found it. It's especially good stirred in oatmeal, even on sausage!! I'll keep buying, great find.
