When we bought our house the pool had been neglected for at least a couple of years. We had already replaced the crucial parts such as pump and filters but the spa blower was low on the priority list. Since I had just retiled the pool and fixed the coping I felt bad having an ugly old blower that sounded like a fighter jet taking off... I could have gotten this model some $30 cheaper but I missed out on the deal. Oh well. I saw this for a decent price and ordered it based on the generally favorable reviews all around. I removed the old blower and installed this one, which was a bit of a pain because the switch didn't really fit the housing but I made it work somehow. I was a bit nervous starting it up but I was pleasantly surprised. The noise is similar to that of our IntelliFlow pump (so barely noticeable) while it's powerful enough to supply our bubble seat with plenty of air. The kids love it and it is a difference like night and day compared to the old rusty POS. I can highly recommend this blower but make sure you keep or buy all the necessary parts like the on/off switch with cover before installing it.
