Well designed and made in the U.S.

I just purchased this unit from a local cable company to replace a Ridgid Auto Spin. I downgraded to a 35' 1/4" cable with no drop head. This drain cleaning machine is easy to use and light weight. It has a lever that controls forward, neutral, and reverse while the cable is spinning, and the foot petal controls the speed. It is meant for kitchen and bathroom drains up to three inches, but only if you use a 3/8" cable. It's perfect for 1 & 1/2" to 2" lines. Although it's hard to see from the picture, the drum is powered by an electric hand drill that is permanently mounted to the unit. It can be be used as shown or upright depending on a floor or wall drain. The cable is not attached in the drum, so don't run it all the out or you could loose it in the drain. 35' is all you need to clear sink, tub, and shower drains. I have only used it once in my handyman business, so I may revise my rating at a later date. This drain cleaner is made in the U.S. which made it the only pick for me.
