This is a concentraed form of the original Grapefruit seed extract. Take with care, and dilute. I use when I have a sever problem, but I always dilute with filtered water.

Burned my skin

I have been battling IC or candida for over 7 years now. For those of you who don't know, IC is short for Interstitial Cystitis which is a condition that causes urinary pain and bladder pain constantly. Doctors have not found real cure thus far and consider it an autoimmune disorder... Many doctors believe it is not even real and have been absolutely worthless in helping my condition. With that being said, I have had to do my own research to find out what might help my situation.

I recently started drinking this with a regiment I found online that claims to cure candida which many believe to be the underlying cause of IC. The claim comes from a scientific study performed on a group where grapefruit seed extract was found to cure 99% of the test group, with only 1% of individuals not being cured of candida through the regiment. Some cases lasted longer depending on the severity of their condition, however it cured 99% of individuals nonetheless... At this point, I am sick and tired of trying everything from Dmannose, cornsilk tea, paud'arco and marshmallow root to probiotics, to very VERY restrictive diets (i.e no dairy, sugars including natural fruit sugars, no gluten, no bread, no starch, no starchy vegetables very very low intake of carbohydrates, no red meats, eating only lean meat, no shell fish, no fish, no additives like vinegar, citric acid, no processed foods, no mushrooms, or condiments, etc)... which have all shown improvements, some more significant than others- but hadn't thus far been able to cure me of my urinary pain or discomfort. So, I figured I'd give this a go.

Anyway! For the sake of not ranting on much longer, I have found TREMENDOUS and significant results and relief using this stuff. So far, I have seen major improvements in my ability to eat more normal foods without the expense of my bladder being in pain right after. I have not yet determined whether this is my cure, however, I am on my highest dose thus far and am happy to say my condition has improved tremendously! I am hoping this regiment will cure me once and for all! I will keep you all posted two months from now as that is when my regiment is supposed to cure me. I had decided to go with this brand because of the reviews and because the GSE brand supposedly changed their potency or something rather. The taste is absolutely awful and it can definitely be brutal if you drink it with water, as it will burn your throat for a little while. I take it with fresh squeezed OJ from Trader Joes, and its not nearly as bitter and is drinkable. Hope this helps!
