Good addition to dishes, when fresh shallots are unavailable

Good addition to dishes, when fresh shallots are unavailable. I also use as part of a rub, pressing into the meat prior to grilling. Adds a subtle flavor and a little crunch.
Good with ramen.

Great to add to ramen. Adds color and flavor.
Good stuff. Can't buy shallots here in Springfield Ohio. Don't know why...

Love the flavor of the leeks

Lovely added to a soup mix or a stew, or roast or frittata. Try sautéed shallots w/ steak, sooo good. For me it's for everyday & part of our hurricane preparedness kit. Great flavor, another of my favorite, oh so good veggies. Very happy. Really never spoils!
Unpeeled shallots!

Very disappointing to have received these and see that the majority of this product is made up of the shallot skins, not the actual shallot. I tried these in a risotto recipe and it ruined it since the peels were so tough and inedible. I've ordered freeze dried shallots in the past, and while more expensive, at least they were edible!
