My 3 year old (and 1 year old) LOVES this tool set. I thought she'd just follow me around w/ the screwdriver and hammer, but she loves setting up her "workbench" and just working away. Note that the toolbox is much smaller than I'd imagined and only holds about 10-20% of the tools in the set.

The tools are fun for toddlers to pretend with however the toolbox is extremely tiny. Don't expect it to carry the tools as shown in the picture. It would be nice if more projects were offered to make from the wood instead of useless toolbox.

Great set for a little boy. Made of sturdy plastic, every piece feels well made. Right weight, not too heavy for the little hands, yet there is a nice feel to the tools. Drill spins a little and makes some nouse when the button is being pressed, which excites children. One point is taken away for a misrepresentation- i was under the impressionafter readig a description od theset, that you can keep everything in a tool caddy. In fact the toolcaddy that is a part of the set, is so small, that only screws and a tape measure could fit in. A picture of the all tools being conveniently stored in this caddy is far away from a reality. That is the only minor disappointment, overall its a great highly recommended toy.

OK first off, the tool box is deceptively small, that picture is a lie. If you think you're going to fit all those tools you got into that little box you're sadly mistaken.You can maybe hold two screws in that thing. It's nice that the kids can build it an all but where am I putting all these tools now? A red plastic bucket I found, that's where. It would've been nice if it could've been an actual, functioning toolbox that could hold all the new toy tools in. All they needed to do was make the toolbox part bigger. My next issue is the packaging. On Christmas I spent about 4 hours opening boxes and putting together toys for my son, about 40 minutes of that was spent on ripping through the plastic casing of this thing. It's basically two pieces of plastic encasing the tools, a bottom half and a top half, they are joined by these little circle points that are all throughout the packaging. You first think to yourself, oh this should be easy, just grab one end and it should rip right off...Wrong....You'll only rip off tiny sections at a time, leaving you with jagged shards of plastic stabbing you in the hand and forearm because those circles do not come apart, you can only cut around them, thus making your job significantly more difficult. Other than that, they're nice toys for my son, he loves em.

This was an absolute hit at a 4 year old's birthday party! The box is quite large and all the tools are displayed nicely, causing every boy in the party to squeal with excitement. The tools are also very durable. My husband joked he might borrow some of them for his own projects. My son feels just like daddy working on everything around the house from his bike to the dog. Would highly recommend these to any do it yourself child! A favorite toy around our house, if only they cleaned themselves up!
