This shade is so hard to find, so this was a good deal. I liked the kit itself, the brush was ok. I actually split the first box (in this set of 2) in half to get more applications out of it, which worked well. The color went on nicely but didn't last as long as the box indicated that it would (maybe 2 weeks for me, and I only wash my hair every 3 days or so). I used the entire second box at once to see if maybe I wasn't mixing it properly, and it was the same. Lasted about 2 weeks. Good for a quick fix, just wish it lasted longer.

I recently went from white-blond to medium brown and had my hair done at a salon. My hairdresser suggested I get this root touch up kit for in-between my appointments to keep my gray roots covered. She said it would match her salon color, and the box said it would match my salon color. And it did just that! I'm very happy with the results. The instructions were easy to follow, the product was easy to mix and apply to my roots. It only took a total of 15-20 before I was rinsing it out and done.

I get my hair colored at the salon, but in between coloring's, I have been using root touch up for years. I even add low ights, when my hair begans to lighten. I can extend coloring my hair by using these kits. When I go to the salon for hair cuts, the stylist always comment that I do not have much grey. I believe I am completely grey! The medium golden brown always matches the salon color.
