I bought these to use with a costume -- at the price, I figured that if they held up for a couple of outings, they'd have done their job.

It turns out that they're actually pretty well-made and surprisingly practical for use in ballet class. They fit well (my calves are not small, by the way -- at their widest point, they're about 15"/38cm), stay up, and don't get in the way. They've held up well through their first couple of cold-water machine washes (color has remained bright; they don't seem to shrink) and have now survived a trip to Black Rock Desert, which speaks well of their quality.

These are thinner than my previous leg warmers, which I made from recycled wool sweater arms, so they're a sound option for most classes, though I plan to continue using the thick wool leg warmers on really cold winter days.

My only complaint is that these get pretty fuzzy with use and will probably pill. That's not the end of the world, though.

It's hard to say how these will endure over the long run, but I'm quite satisfied with them at the price I paid.

The color of these leg warmers was great. The green is really vibrant. They shipped really quick and were just in time for my party. The warmers fit okay the first time I put them on to try on my outfit. The day of the party though they had quickly got a little big and baggy. It wasn't enough for them to fall down completely or anything; the top stayed on my calf pretty good. They were just a little baggy at the bottom. They are much longer than they appear in the photo they have showing. I posted pics so you can see what i mean. The first pic is the first time I put them on and the darker picture is at the party.

Even with that being said, they definitely still did the job for me and looked super cute with my outfit. I bought some sweatbands to go with it and they matched perfectly. They are also a really great price, you should see how expensive these are at the party store!! I would buy them again if I needed to.

these are long, at least 24", so you can scrunch them up for added warmth. they are a medium weight slightly open knit, but not cheap. if you look at the photo, you can see the model's shoe through the fabric, which gives you a clue they are not dense.

they have a nice fluted edge on one end.

the green is darker than the photo, more of a grass green. from what other reviewers said, it seems these colors tend to be brighter/darker than the photo shows.

4 stars for not true to color, and quite a bit longer than expected from the photo.

Not good for people with thick legs.

Purchased as an accessory for 80s night at our local dance studio, going as Olivia Newton John in her "Let's Get Physical" video. It doesn't quite match the overshirt she had on but it's close enough. Thankfully these are thin and not a super heavy sweater material that would have made my legs too hot. It remains to be seen, but these appear to be fitted enough so that they won't slouch down over my heels during dancing.
