This item felt like it might be good in the right size, but it was too small. The sizing is just not varied enough. My wrist measured 7.5 inches technically right for the small/med version, but it just didn't fit right. The metal spoon was too far off center. I was going to return it and try the l/xl, but I then found out the item is not returnable. That is the major reason for the 1 star review at this time. If an item is non-returnable, there should be a large, very obvious disclaimer saying it was not returnable, I couldn't find one. Be very careful ordering this item because sizing is unreliable and it can't be returned. Be wary.

I'm just about in the middle of the two sizes and thought I'd try for the smaller one. It ended up not fitting (the wrist fit but the thumb hole was too small and cut off the circulation) and when I went return it to buy another size I found out that this item isn't eligible for return. There isn't any warning in the product description and there's no explanation why on the returns page, just a link to to Amazon's general returns policy page (which has no reason for why this wouldn't be returnable). Anyone thinking about buying a wrist brace without trying it on first should stay away from this one and go with another product that has a better return policy.
OK, some design flaws

I purchased this wrist brace when I developed some pain in my hand and wrist recently.
First off, it does a reasonable job of keeping the wrist in a neutral position. It's as comfortable as such a device will ever be. I've downgraded it for two reasons:
1) No washing instructions that I could find. I wound up putting it in a mesh laundry bag and tossing it in the washer on cool; it seems to have survived a brief trip through the dryer as well.
2) The soft lining material that connects the two sides, under the Velcro straps, is not wide enough. If you line up the lower (elbow-end) Velcro strap precisely, it will irritate your unprotected skin. It's not a deal-breaker; I've learned to fasten that strap slightly out of alignment so there is no rough edge scratching my arm. See photo which shows the soft material strip only goes about halfway down the length of the one strap's slot.
Another issue I have is that it doesn't open very wide - so when I go to put my hand through the sleeve, it's hard to do so without bending my hand in a painful manner.

These braces do not fit extra large wrist. They are marked large/extra large but I could not fit them over my hand and wrist. Also, manufacturer will not accept return of the right hand brace. They accepted return of the left hand brace. The Amazon representative did not have a reason. Amazon was very kind in issuing a refund and asking me to donate the brace.

BE WARY NO RETURNS! (I still can't find that listed with the product anywhere) I type all the time and started to get a lot of pain in both wrists and fingers. I decided to give these a try so bought one for each hand. I have normal fingers, very paino player like, not excessive or fat fingers yet L/XL is too tight on the thumb area and actually creates more pain because it doesn't have a big enough opening and pulls down on thumb. XL should fit me perfectly fine yet it does not. BE WARY company has registered this as a health item with amazon so it will not allow you to return it, which is ridiculous, it's not like it's a bottle of medicine. What do you do then if the item does not fit and this is the biggest size they have? I've returned a knee compression item on amazon that was too small, this isn't much different.
