OEM Replacement for my GE ( 8 years?...remember when appliances went 25+) for my model a 1 hour fix. Same day thru amazon made for quick easy and inexpensive repair. Youtube tutorials helped with diagnosis and swapping the parts-

Rescued my frig. Perfect replacement. Same quality. A fair amount of work to get it out and back in, but worth it. $25 and my frig is back in business.

This motor comes in versions to fit many refrigerators. What is usually different is the wiring that accompanies it. Some wiring bundles have a molded-on seal too. People choose the "wrong" part and the listings can be wrong too. If your new part doesn't match, it's almost always a matter of cutting the new part's wires long and the old part's wires short, and splicing them in any of half a dozen ways. Don't be afraid of the wiring on this expensive little puppy; it's more forgiving than it may at first seem.
BUT: be very afraid of breaking it; the shaft is inserted into the central hub and that fit is very (inexcusably) weak. Be very gentle mounting the fan blade assembly and don't hit nothing noway nohow never. There are also two red mounting bushings that go on this thing and you MIGHT/MIGHT NOT want to get two new ones if they look too worn (hard to jury-rig), but they should easily last ten years and better.
