Seemed larger than it ended up being. I added rear rack rails (wish they had put them in the first place) to mount a 2-sided power strip, so it becomes a one-plug operation. I have IEM transmitter and Wireless receiver side by side. Antennae for the receiver on front panel, and IEM transmit antenna on the back mounted on a 1/2 rack strip. That gives me additional antenna separation, reducing interference. The front bag would be a bit nicer if it were able to zip on and off - for operational stacking and loading gear. As it is, anything stored in the pack is vulnerable to damage.

I use this to carry a $5000 audio codec with me around to sporting events for broadcasts. I was a little hesitant about the construction but I have other SKB cases that work out fine. The construction is good and rugged. I have not had any issues with it after traveling around the country and tossing it in and out of planes and trunks of taxis. The equipment is fairly heavy and the wire loops that are used to attach the shoulder strap bent out and disconnected from the case. I changed them out with some quick links from the hardware store and everything is fine now. It is small enough to be accepted as carry-on baggage which allows me to watch over my expensive equipment when flying. The front pocket is large enough for some cables and a few items. I am planning on purchasing a 2nd one very soon for my other codec. The size of this case is perfect for my needs.

This case is brilliant. It holds my two 1U units perfectly and protects them well. It's also deep enough (and my units shallow enough) that I can store supplies in the case behind the units, and that doesn't count the storage from the pocket.
It's not the lightest case in the world, but there's no doubt that it's very study for a soft-sided case. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a 2U case, and I will likely buy one or two more in the future.
