Hi you all. The quality is good. I own a 1958 Chevy Apache with the original bench seat. My truck does not come with a center seat belt. I had to recycle a seat belt from a donor car so it stays in place. Now I can drink my soda in peace and store my daily stuff. Good arm rest too. My truck is a 4 on the floor and the long gear shift does not get in the way. So for all you Chevy 55 to 59 series drivers....well it works for me. P.S. Photo is before I added the seat belt restraint. I bought the truck in Kent England. It was imported from California. Now she lives in Spain. Love American cars.

I have installed this in the center of the bench seat in my old Ford F150. It is a perfect compliment to a truck that has only storage in the broken glove box. I particularly like that the center seat belt holds the console in place just below the top door and above the cell phone slot. If you have a bench seat and need some storage, this is a great choice.

I installed on a 2004 Colorado WT with a factory bench seat. It fits well utilizing the center seat belt to secure it. It feels well built, and the height is perfect for my elbow. I have driven this truck for 120K miles over the last 8 years without an armrest, I should have got one of these years ago. It does make fastening the seatbelt for driver and passenger a little cumbersome because of the width, but it is manageable and will become second nature with time. I am 5'8" and medium build so a bigger person may find it more difficult in a small truck like the Colorado. Full size trucks likely would present no issue. For me, and my truck, this is a perfect fit, with an added bonus that the inside of the console is designed to fit a 6 pack. I am surprise that wasn't listed in the description, and I was thrilled. I take a lot of road trips, and finding a place to stash a few Coke's in the spartan cab of my truck is always a hassle. Even with a 6 pack nestled in it's spot, still plenty of room for my GPS, notebook, etc. I might get another one for my living room, as it was handy to have sitting on the couch as well; perfect for game day with a few friends. I went from a decked out maxima to a very basic Jeep Patriot, cause I'm in school. My daughter became very accustomed to having certain luxuries, such as AC in the back, an arm rest to lay on, and fancy radio panels. Ever since I got the Jeep, she has consistently mentioned how lacking the Jeep is, and how we needed to find a different car. This console is one of the compromises, and she has since been silent on the trading front! Stays in place on my cloth bench read seat, and looks like it came with the vehicle. She uses it to hold her reading books, her drinks and sleeps on it. This would probably slide around on a leather seat, but when the cloth, it's not moved once, and I don't have it tied down. Highly recommend if you also wanted to save some money on a vehicle, like I did! :)
