These DO NOT WORK FOR FINE HAIR! These are impossible to wrap around a ponytail and hook the hooks are SOO long they don't hold ANYTHING tightly enough to be worth anything. These are simply garbage. I don't think these could work unless you have the THICKEST possible hair that these hooks might work.

I bought these because my daughter is a cheerleader and her ponytail kept sagging. If you put a regular pony tail in and then put this in afterwards...your pony tail will stay high! I watched a tutorial and a celebrity beautician suggested this. I am glad I bought it because it works!!! Miracle product!!! And I had never heard of it before that tutorial.

I purchased a 3-pack of these in brown. The first time I tried to use one, the end pulled off. I tried again with a second one, which thankfully did not break. I took the third one out of the package and pulled on the ends a little and it stayed intact. I figured that since 2 of the 3 were still usable I wouldn't exchange. I used the second bungee maybe once a week for 6 weeks, and then decided to use the third one. I didn't even have it wrapped around my ponytail once and an end pulled out. Of course, by this time I was unable to return or exchange the items. I chose this brand of bungees because they weren't the cheapest, but also weren't the most expensive. I guess I (kind of) got what I paid for.

I used these for a ponytail extension for a cosplay where my hair matched the character's but I needed a really large and long ponytail. They held up really well, kept the extensions I sewed onto them in my hair and never slipped. They are a pain to actually hook, but once you do they stay. I had no issue with the band separating or straining from the hook (which is surprising considering how abusive I was to them)
