Descent boot for the price. It does have a strong odor to it out of the box that will dissipate in a week or so. As far as the fit, they do have a bit more space to them. If your looking for a tight fitting boot you may want to order a half size smaller? After reading the reviews I was skeptical about them but took a chance on them anyway. For my needs, they're a comfortable boot. They will get scuff marks but it doesn't penetrate to the material. Still retains it's color. I like that they can be used as a casual boot with jeans or a pair of khakis pants. Fits my needs.

I love these boots, I already owned 3 pairs in brown, black and the dark maroon. I've had the brown the longest, about 4 years, and have worn the soles almost off so I had been looking for another brown pair. These boots are very tough though, being real leather, they can take a beating. I've been caught in serious rain storms for hours and these boots hold up and never get stiff after drying. I even weld in them. They're comfortable too, I've tried to find the same type of boot for cheaper but none have compared to the comfort and durability.

Love these a lot. Comfortable and stylish look great in jeans and chinos already received compliments. Highly recommend fit is true to size I wear 12 and size 12 fit perfect.

Compared to other boots at twice the price, these are outstanding. Second pair of identical ones I have owned. Quality leather, comfortable insole, and rugged sole that doesn't slip on wet or frozen surfaces.

This is an excellent cheap boot. Don't expect anything close to RedWing or Wolverine quality, and you won't be disappointed.

I recommend going a half size down from typical American shoe scale. These shoes are roomy, and would accommodate a wide foot well, however my narrow feet feel fine too.

I bought these after looking at the Thursday Boots "Captain", since I didn't want to drop two hundo. Wouldn't pay more than $75 for these, my size was $58 when I bought them. The leather is thin and looks a bit scruffy with age.

If you're hankering for a cheap boot that looks like a more expensive heritage boot, these are your guys. They're as good for work wear with business casual and a jacket as they are with jeans and a t shirt.
