best noodles for Pho'! So glad we can still order these after the grocery stores near by stopped carrying them

I made it with just water and used the whole spice packet and it was not good. The broth tasted really bad. I will try making it with broth and less of the spice packet but do not recommend making it with just water.

I LOVE this product! I've eaten traditional Pho and this is pretty dang close. I use 2 boxes and use 4 cups chicken broth and 4 cups vegetable. I put chicken breasts, broth and packets in a slow cooker on high for 4-5 hours. Then add the noodles at the end. I buy fresh basil, sprouts, cilantro and limes. I don't add mint because it's already pretty minty. The first time I made this my husband though I got takeout from our local Vietnamese restaurant.

Terrible product. Not chesp and must add several ingrediants to make.
Can get an entree from asian resturant for less and would taste way better.

Pretty good for something that's INSTANT

For something that is INSTANT, it's actually pretty good. Note the word, "instant." So no, it's not close to authentic slow simmered pho broth, but for something that's instant, it's a good substitute when you want something fast and not have to drive to a pho restaurant or pull out bones from your freezer (assuming you keep beef bones in your freezer. haha). I love that not only the noodles are brown rice, but that the spice packet is all organic. Very simple and quick to toss together. Cook and prep pretty much like you had a bag of instant ramen that you were trying to fancy up. Throw in your own meats and fixins and there you have it.
Each box is a pretty decent hefty serving for two, but I don't exactly eat large portions myself.
